Our Story

Hilton Cabana Miami Beach is the newest Hilton Worldwide property to be built in the Miami Beach area in over a decade. South Florida’s newest Miami Beach oceanfront luxury and lifestyle hotel is located at 6261 Collins Avenue (at 63rd Street) and is approximately 1,067 acres, with 119 square feet of private beachfront.

Sitting on the property that formerly housed the Allison Hotel, this Miami Beach oceanfront hotel consists of one ten story main building (The Allison Tower) and one Cabana-style building. The hotel has a storied history. The main building was originally designed by Herbert Mathes AIA as the Allison Apartments and was then converted to the Allison Hotel (1951-2005). The building has maintained its MiMo style façade from the original construction as well as the existing building stucco on the historic west facing façade, however has been completely redeveloped and transformed to what guests now experience.

Upon entering the hotel from Collins Avenue, guests will be greeted by the open-area front desk and Concierge Desk. Continuing from the front desk into the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach, the guest elevators are located directly to the left. Venturing through the gallery, visitors see the hotel’s onsite restaurant, plus the outdoor bar/lounge area. Exiting the gallery, the lobby level pool deck becomes accessible, complete with lawn areas perfect for sunbathing. Guests can walk directly onto the beach via a footpath located at the far end of the property. The 3rd level features a secondary pool area, with cabanas. Onsite valet parking is available.

The hotel enjoys good access, both within the neighborhood, as well as to the surrounding Miami Beach metropolitan area. Collins Avenue, Indian Creek Drive 71st Street (Normandy Drive) and 41st Street (Arthur Godfrey Road) are the major transportation corridors through the neighborhood. The property sits on the east side of Collins Avenue, on the corner of 63rd and Collins, and benefits from easy ingress/egress.
